Looking back… Moving forward.

The last 5 years have been full of challenges in healthcare.

New diseases, overwhelming inpatient loads, staffing crises, medication and supply shortages, death, trauma, increasing violence against healthcare workers…

… the list goes on and on.

The outcomes of these challenges have varied, and as usually happens, have included both positive and negative results.

While nothing can erase the loss we have suffered over the last 5 years, we have learned to adapt (what choice did we have) and find sustainable ways to move forward (at least that is the goal).

We’ve learned to experiment, collaborate and work together in new ways while also facing some of the greatest divisions the world has seen in 80 years.

We’re five years in, and it’s time to consolidate all we’ve learned, build on our collaborative efforts, and create a roadmap to a brighter future in healthcare.

I invite you to join me here as we explore, experiment, and make connections – one sphere of influence at a time.

Leave a comment and let us know what you have seen or done that is working and making your corner of healthcare better.

I can’t wait to learn with you.
